List of Informix SQL fields

说明

ifx_fieldtypes(resource $result_id): array

Returns an associative array with fieldnames as key and the SQL fieldtypes as data for the query associated with$result_id.

参数

$result_id: $result_idis a valid resultid returned by ifx_query() or ifx_prepare()(select type queries only!).

返回值

Returns an associative array with fieldnames as key and the SQL fieldtypes as data for query with$result_id. Returns FALSE on error.

Alternativly i found you can always do it like this using the foreach() loop...
  $types = @ifx_fieldtypes($resultid);
  if (isset($types))
  {
   foreach($types as $field_name => $data_type)
   {
     echo "{$field_name} {$data_type}";
   }
  }
